What's new in LMS Test.Lab Revision 9

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A Transfer Path Analysis
More market-leading problem-solving TPA solutions

LMS Test.Lab 02.jpg
In LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A, you can expect more of the same and that is good news since LMS is known as the market leader in TPA solutions. For over 20 years, experts around the world have counted on our TPA experience and easyto- use solutions. LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A focuses on vibro-acoustic energy flow improvements. User can trace single or partially correlated multiple sources to single or multiple receiver locations to increase NVH competitiveness and reduce troubleshooting. The new TPA solution can even handle multiple interactive modifications to run real-time “what if” scenarios.

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A Angle Domain
Take engine analysis one step further

LMS Test.Lab 04.jpgWith fuel prices soaring and environmental regulations tightening, the focus is on producing the most efficient engines possible. Understanding engine noise and vibration issues can bring quite a bit of insight to the engine design process as a whole. Converting measured data from the familiar time domain to the angle domain provides a key analysis capability required for the in-depth engineering of those problems. Combined with parallel data processing, this LMS Test.Lab Angle Domain solution leads designers right to the root causes of noise and vibration issues in an optimized process that saves time and produces better results.

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A
Angle Domain

  • Covers torsional vibrations; combustion noise analysis; valve dynamics and dedicated duty cycle analysis
  • Perform angle domain analysis to identify the root causes of noise and vibration issues
  • Discover the root cause of excessive vibration problem

Even shorter testing times

LMS Test.Lab 05.jpgThe aerospace industry is continuously under pressure to develop lighter components, systems, aircrafts and spacecrafts in shorter timeframes and at lower cost - without compromising quality, safety and the mission itself. Based on extensive cooperation with leading aerospace manufacturers from all  over the world, LMS has developed a unique approach combining simulation and physical testing to accelerate and optimize the complete testing cycle – from test preparation and modal testing to modal analysis, numerical  model correlation and model updating.

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A GVT

  • Reduces the risk involved in GVT testing campaigns
  • Shortens the total test lead time
  • Covers multiple excitation, modal validation and non-linear behavior assessment techniques to dramatically increase modal behavior observability
  • Efficiently and reliably identifies all the critical aircraft modes
  • Uses LMS Test.Lab interconnected with LMS SCADAS III data acquisition frontends covering up to 1,000 channels
  • Dedicated GVT engineering services
LMS Test.Lab 06.jpgLMS Test.Lab Rev 9A Vibration Control
New workbook for more realistic component testing

The most recent portfolio extension of LMS Test.Lab Vibration Control and Environmental Testing features more innovative testing techniques for more realistic testing. Not only does this increase the accuracy of the test, it also increases the speed. The new technology gets the field data to the shaker in fewer steps and extends the current testing techniques from classical sine, tracked sine, random and shock control to long-duration time waveform replication. Operators will also appreciate the real-time feedback during time
                                                         replay.

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9A
Vibration Control

  • Market-leading accuracy and speed thanks to improved techniques
  • Meets the trends for more realistic component testing
  • Compliant with testing standards such as MIL-STD 810
  • Includes adaptive control offline, online, long-duration testing and iterative control
