LMS Test.Lab Acoustic Testing provides all the necessary functions for the acquisition and analysis of multi channel 1/1 or 1/3 ANSI compliant octave data. It includes linear and exponential averaging methods for acquiring octave data in stationary or transient operating conditions, against specified time or rpm intervals, and for the monitoring of dynamic, static and operational parameters. It allows the online acquisition and visualization of the most important functions (such as octave sections, OA-Levels, etc…).
It includes LMS Test.Lab Psycho-Acoustic Metrics, which provides the online acquisition and post-processing of a number of indices related to the human perception of noise, such as articulation index, loudness ISO 532 B and sharpness. These indices are derived from 1/n octave data.
